Monarch Windows & Doors Cookie Policy
Effective date: September 13, 2026.
This Cookie Policy explains how Monarch Windows & Doors uses cookies and similar technologies on monarch-windows.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies let a site remember things between page loads, such as whether you are signed in or which session you belong to. Similar technologies include local storage, which stores data in your browser in much the same way, and pixels, which are small requests used to record that a page was viewed.
2. Categories We Use
2.1 Strictly necessary
These make the site work and cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Hosting and caching. Our host and caching layer use cookies to serve the correct version of a page and to keep the site fast.
- Form security. Our form software uses tokens to verify that a submission came from a real visitor on our site and to block automated spam.
- WordPress session. If you log in to the site as a staff member, WordPress sets cookies to keep you signed in and remember your admin preferences. These are not set for ordinary visitors.
2.2 Functional
- Page builder preferences. Our page builder stores small amounts of data in your browser to render layouts and remember display settings.
2.3 Analytics and lead attribution
- Lead attribution session cookie. Our customer relationship management platform sets a cookie containing a randomly generated session identifier. Its purpose is to connect a form submission to the pages you viewed beforehand, so we can tell which pages and campaigns produce inquiries. The cookie name begins with
lc_session_. It contains a random identifier, not your name or contact details. - Website analytics. If enabled, Google Analytics sets cookies beginning with
_gato measure traffic, page popularity, and general audience characteristics in aggregate. These cookies typically expire after up to 2 years.
2.4 Embedded content
- Video. Pages that embed video may load content from a third-party video platform, which can set its own cookies once you press play. Those cookies are governed by that platform’s privacy policy, not ours.
- Fonts and avatars. We load web fonts and, in comment areas, avatar images from third-party services. These involve a request to those services that includes your IP address.
3. What We Do Not Do
We do not use cookies to sell your personal information, and we do not currently run third-party advertising retargeting pixels on this site. If that changes, we will update this page before turning them on.
4. How to Control Cookies
- Browser settings. Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies. Look under Settings, then Privacy and security. Blocking all cookies will break parts of this and most other websites.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising.
- Analytics opt-out. Google provides a browser add-on that prevents Google Analytics from collecting data across all sites.
- Text and email. Cookie settings do not affect messaging. To stop texts, reply STOP. To stop marketing email, use the unsubscribe link.
5. Changes
We will update this page when the technologies on our site change, and will revise the effective date above.
