ENTRY & PATIO DOORS · WADSWORTH & NORTHEAST OHIO

Entry & Patio Doors for Northeast Ohio Homes

Your front door takes the weather head-on, sets the first impression of your home, and stands between your family and the outside. When it sticks, drafts, or looks tired, you feel it every single day. Monarch helps homeowners across Medina, Cleveland, Akron, and Wadsworth choose doors that look right on their house and hold up to an Ohio winter.

WHY REPLACE YOUR DOORS

Signs your door is past due

Most people put off replacing a door until it becomes a daily irritation. You can see daylight along the edge. It swells shut every August and rattles every January. The deadbolt needs a hip-check to line up. The finish went chalky three summers ago. Any one of those is worth fixing — together they’re costing you comfort, security, and curb appeal at the same time.

  • A door that seals tight instead of letting daylight through the edge
  • Real security: reinforced frames, multi-point locks, solid cores
  • No more swelling shut in August or sticking in January
  • Hardware and finishes that match the rest of your home
  • Glass and sidelight options that brighten a dark foyer
  • A front entry that looks intentional from the street

THE MONARCH DIFFERENCE

Your door project deserves straight answers, not a sales pitch.

Every Monarch door installation runs on the same standards, whether it’s a single entry door or a full remodel: proper licensing, certified crews, and honest guidance from the first visit to the final walkthrough.

Licensed & Insured

Fully licensed and insured before we touch your entryway. Ask for the certificate and we'll hand it over.

Certified Installers

The crew measuring, fitting, and hanging your door works for Monarch. A door that isn't hung plumb will never seal right, no matter what you paid for it — which is why we don't subcontract.

No-Pressure Consultations

We'll tell you honestly which door fits your home and budget, even when that's not the top-of-the-line option, and even when the answer is "a new storm door solves this for a fraction of the cost."

Local to Northeast Ohio

Based in Wadsworth, serving 11+ counties. We know what freeze-thaw cycles do to an exposed entryway.

WHY REPLACE YOUR DOORS

Find the door that fits the opening

Entry, patio, and specialty doors each solve a different problem. Here’s how the five we install actually work in a house.

Your front door does more work than any other door you own — first impression, weather barrier, and primary security point all at once. Modern fiberglass and steel handle an Ohio winter far better than wood ever did, and today’s grain textures read as real wood from the sidewalk. Which is exactly where people are standing when they judge it.

Glides along a track instead of swinging, so nothing eats floor space in the room or deck space outside. That makes it the right call when furniture sits close to the wall or the patio is tight. Multi-point locks and thermally broken frames have closed most of the old gap on security and efficiency.

Two hinged panels that open from the center, in or out. It’s the most architectural option here, and the one that makes a room feel deliberate rather than just functional. It does need swing clearance on one side, so measure the space before you fall for the look.

An extra layer in front of your entry door: added insulation in January, a screened opening in May, and shade that keeps the finish on the door behind it from fading. The smallest project on this page by a wide margin. Dollar for dollar, it’s also the highest return.

Large panels that stack behind one another or pocket into the wall, opening a span far wider than a standard patio door. The showpiece option for a renovation or addition, where the goal is to make the back wall essentially disappear. Best planned early, since the opening usually needs framing work.

ROUND OUT THE PROJECT

A new door is often just the start

Once the entry looks right, the windows on either side of it tend to stand out. And a lot of homeowners realize the same crew that’s already on site can open up the lower level they’ve stopped using. Worth knowing what’s possible while the project is being planned.

Comfort Meets Curb Appeal

The right doors change how home feels

An entry that doesn’t leak heat into the driveway. A foyer that gets real daylight for the first time. A back door you actually open, because it glides instead of fighting you. And the thing every visitor sees before they see anything else — a front door that looks like someone chose it on purpose.

Our door offering is built around ProVia entry and patio doors, with select Pella, Andersen, and Marvin lines available when a project calls for a specific design direction or a non-standard opening.

Simple by Design

A clear path to a better entry

A door project should feel straightforward from the first visit. Here’s exactly how a Monarch door installation runs.

1. Free In-Home Consultation

We look at the opening, check the condition of the frame and threshold, and talk through what's bothering you — drafts, sticking, security, or just the look. You get honest options and a clear price.

2. Product & Design Selection

We match material to your exposure, style to your home's architecture, and glass, sidelights, and hardware finish to the rest of the entry. Custom sizes are available when the opening calls for it.

3. Professional Installation

Our certified crews remove the old unit, check and repair the framing and threshold if needed, set the new door plumb and square, insulate and seal the opening, and finish the interior trim and exterior capping. Most single-door installs are done in a day.

4. Final Walkthrough & Warranty

We open, close, and lock the door with you, adjust the strike and sweep, and back the work with manufacturer and workmanship warranties.
